Biotherm Pure-Fect Skin / Micro-Exfoliating Purifying Toner

I don’t think you can beat a good exfoliation to make your skin look and feel fresh and new. However, I am way too lazy to wash and exfoliate my face everyday, so an exfoliating toner was my next option. Biotherm Pure-Fect Skin is my second ever Biotherm product- the first was theirInstant Hydration Softening Lotion. It was going spare in the Cohorted office so I sweet talked my way into owning it (bless them, no one can say no to me when I’m determined) as I’d been wanting to switch up my toner routine thing for a while. Made for normal to oily skin, this is a micro-exfoliating purifying toner.

Biotherm Pure-Fect Skin

I use this after cleansing by soaking a cotton pad and wiping/ rubbing it on my skin. It feels really cooling and refreshing, and I definitely feel that it helps clear my skin of any leftover makeup or residue. I’ve not noticed a major difference in terms of how clear my skin is, although I feel like my nose pores are looking good. I do mix and match my skin routine on almost a daily basis, but I’ve been using this consistently as I love how refreshing my skin feels after.

As much as I love this, I’m not sure if I’ll buy it again. At £15.50, I feel like I could find something that is better value- either for the same price but that makes my skin literally glow, or for a bit cheaper that has the same effect. I think it’s the skint student in me but I just can’t justify spending what could be my weeks’ worth of food on a toner when I have a good three or four already, and a whole range of brands I’ve not tried. Maybe I’m not ready to commit to one brand of skin care yet, but I just don’t think that this toner is THE toner to change my life.

If you want to try it for yourself, you can get it at Boots online.

Have you tried this? Or have you got any recommendations for my next toner?
