Hello adoring fans *awkward silence*
I’m back from another long absence (basically, I’m more of an occasional blogger these days) with a long overdue post.
I was sent these two palettes by my favourite budget brand, Sleek, ages ago. Just before the blogging slump. So I really apologise to the lovely PRs at BrandNation, because I hate it when people do that to me.
The Sleek i-Divine A New Day and All Night Long palettes are similar in colours to each other, with the shades being the defining factor; A New Day has soft nudes, warm browns and beautiful golds, All Night Long has shimmering champagnes, deep bronzes and gold peaches.
A New Day
The colours in A New Day are perfect for smokey day eyes; the nudes here blend into your skin tone for a soft look, and the darker shades are cool tones which (IMO) aren’t as dramatic as warmer colours.
(I mean I’m not a MUA so I’m probably wrong but)
Some of the shades here are still quite bold, so you could easily make a night look out of this palette with a bit of layering.
All Night Long
The shadows in the All Night Long palette are more intense and much more shimmery than the day version; the nudes here are absolutely perfect for highlighting under the brow or inner eye.
Manahatta is the most gorgeous burnt bronze, perfect for  my much loved heroin chic look, and also good for smudging under eyes for an understated eye.
As with literally all Sleek products I’ve tried, the quality of these are fabulous. With primer, I can wake up in the morning makeup fully intact. Without primer, I can get home drunk at 4am and still look perfect.
All the shadows blend really well, and both palettes compliment each other so well – I tend to use a bit of both whether I’m going for a subtle or more dramatic look.
Both palettes are £8.99 each can be bought in Superdrug or via the Sleek website.
