Metro Centre Haul

Remember in my last haul, I was saying I was going to get all of my holiday clothes from Primark because I’m a skint student? Well, my boyfriend’s mum was having none of that and took me shopping while he was at work. I was sending him some very jammy texts that day!

We went to the Metro Centre in/ near/ around Newcastle, which is pretty big and snazzy. Similar to the Trafford Centre if you’ve ever been. We had a quick pit stop at Ed’s Diner, which served the most amazing jalepeno jelly which I am on a hunt to find a good recipe for now!

Debenhams:
Debenhams is such a good store, it’s big enough and has enough stores to satisfy all your needs, and can be a one stop shop if you’re in a rush.

I picked up these baby blue Topshop cigarette trousers, which will be perfect for an evening in Mexico, and will also double up as work wear when I get a full time job.

I physically couldn’t walk past these Henry Holland sandals without picking them up. They tick every box that summer sandals need to be. I can’t wait to paint my toes and kick about (aka sunbathe) in them.

H&M: if Primark is the king of cheap clothes, H&M is the Queen. Best for simple tees and cute designs, you can’t go wrong!

This daisy dress is a perfect beach cover up, as it’s so light and floaty! Daisies are huge for SS14 as well, and they match my sandals. I got a few basic floaty tee’s to throw on over my bikini, and some bicycle shorts to wear underneath them as I’ve wanted a pair since last year!

New Look: I find New Look can quite often be for the ‘younger crowd’ but it always has some gorgeous summer prints in.

This floaty crop top will look amazing against a tan and with some high waisted shorts, and I just thought the shirt was really cute, and a way to smarten up a maxi skirt or leggings.

I’ve already got my bikinis all ready, and a cute pair of jelly shoes and the nicest pastel clutch so I think I might be officially sorted for my holiday! Are you off anywhere nice this year?
