Sports Wear Every Day

Nike Shoes

I’ve been terrible with the gym lately. Like, really bad. Partly because I’ve been rushed off my feet so when I am free, I want to just sleep. Mostly, it’s due to laziness and lack of motivation. I’ve lost my mojo and I need to get it back!

Although I’ve been seriously lacking my actual sport, I am still loving sportswear and the whole sports luxe casual trend that comes in every year. I am basically the epitome of casual dressing, and it’s rare you’ll find me out of trainers, skinny jeans and a baggy top so you can see why I love incorporating sports wear into every day life.

New Look have actually got a really good range, both for working out and day to day life which means if you can’t be arsed to go to the gym, you can still wear them and feel good about yourself. Here are my top picks for their everyday sportswear!

Black Aztec Trainers / Navy Hoodie / Black Skinny Jeans
Blue Ripped Knee Skinny Jeans / Baby Pink Jumper / Black Panel Trainers

My favourite way to incorporate sportswear into my outfit is through trainers. I live and die for them, and it’s only recently I’ve started to bring back some smarter shoes now and then. New Look have got quite a few which look similar to Nike, but without the high price tag (ain’t nobody got time for that in the run up to Christmas!). Big hoodies and oversized jumpers are my next favourite thing to wear; they look dead chill, keep you warm and say to the world “yeah I don’t really care today but I still got style”. What more can a laid back girl want?

I’ve seen a lot of girls (mainly on Instagram) live in their gym leggings but for me, I prefer skinny jeans just to prevent my outfit looking too much like I’ve come out of the gym. Black are my go to, but I also love lighter jeans for a more interesting and bright look.

What do you think about the every day sports trend? Is it something you’d wear or are you do you prefer a more glam look?
