Clinique All About Eyes

I could sleep for 20 hours and still wake up with huge under eye bags. Sadly, I’m juggling university, part time work and two social media internships so I’m lucky if I get more than 7 hours a night. As a result I often have huge bags which cannot be covered by any means. The under of my eyes are normally tinged gray-purple and super hollow. I look like an extra for Tim Burton’s The Corpse Bride.

My dad treated me to Clinique’s three step anti blemish solution, and Clinique kindly put in a 5ml tub of eye cream in my box. The 15ml tub comes in at around £25- £166.67 per 100ml so it’s a really nice freebie. It comes in a rose pink pot with a mint green lid; very chic. It claims to reduce circles, shadows, puffs and fine lines. It is a very silky consistency, and only needs a small fingertip per eye, meaning it is quite good value for money as it will last longer than cheaper creams. It is very soothing on the skin, and takes seconds to absorb. Afterwards, my bags do feel softer, and although there is no instant visual reduction in the size of my bags, they do appear a bit brighter.

I haven’t used this regularly enough to notice a dramatic difference in my under eyes, but they do feel hydrated afterwards and is really soothing to put on, especially if I’ve been out in the wind or in front of the computer for a long time. I would definitely recommend buying it if you are looking for a good quality cream and aren’t too worried about spending a bit more money.
