Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner

I’m rubbish at putting on liquid eyeliner. So rubbish that I never wear it, and when I attempt to put it on, it takes me minimum of three goes before it looks mildly decent. I find it too hard to get close to my lash line, too hard to hold and manipulate an awkward shaped lid, and too hard to create the perfect flick. I haven’t attempted to wear it at all for a while due to my lack of eyeliner and motivation, however, recently I’ve been super bored of my face so when I saw Maybelline’s master precise liquid eyeliner in Superdrug whilst on a browse I decided to give it a go.

Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner

First off, it’s shaped like a pen which automatically means I am more comfortable holding it. It’s longer than your average eye liner, which means I can rest my hand on my cheek when applying, stopping me from being so shaky and allowing me to create a smoother line. Secondly, the precision tip is crazy fine: 0.4mm to be precise. Literally ;) this means it is easier to get right into the lash line, creating a more natural look. It also means that any shaky lines can be altered pretty easily, without creating a line so thick you may as well slather black eye shadow on your lid. It’s pretty easy to change the shape of the line as well, from barely there to full on cat eyes.  I also like the fact you don’t need to dip the nib into ink, as it means the amount of ink is consistent across the entire line. I once had an eyeliner that literally refused to hold ink for more than a millisecond, resulting in super patchy, uneven eyeliner. Yuck.

I really really like this eyeliner. I can actually use it pretty well! Which is no easy feat. It was £5.99 at Superdrug, and Maybelline is currently doing a 3 for 2 at Superdrug so now is probably the best time to get it!

love the post. i too found it very difficult to apply eyeliner & like you have, i discovered this which made eyeliner application 100x easier, it is so effortless! however i found it to dry up quite quickly and have now ventured out to try new eyeliners, as after practice with this eyeliner i now find eyeliner application much easier now :) you should try the l’oreal superliner, which i now use, it is a felt applicator but is also pretty precise and easy to use!

no problem :) ah good, you definitely should! it is one where you have to dip the applicator in to get the product out, but you don’t need to keep dipping in during application as i find it picks enough product up to do at least one eye :)

I started off with the Loreal liquid liner back in my teens. It was easy to control with the long handle.
