Last weekend I went to my boyfriend’s mums 50th birthday party with the theme Mad Hatters Party. With moving and finishing university and all that, I completely forgot to get a hat so Saturday involved a mad dash to find one. Luckily, I came across this little (ahem, tiny) gem in a charity shop for £2.45, and the colour matched my lip colour of choice for the night so I couldn’t really not choose it!
Hat – charity shop | Dress – Bank (old) | Bag – Primark | Shoes – New Look | Socks – Primark | Rings – Various | Watch – Olivia Burton
I went for a more casual attire, purely because I hate being all dolled up in summer when I could get away with something a bit more floaty and simple. As well as my pink hat and lips, I had matching nail varnish so decided on a monochrome outfit so that the overall look wasn’t too flashy.
The party was so cute, I didn’t take many pictures (on account of being ridiculously drunk off Southern Comfort) but there was an assortment of Cath Kidston style tea cups and tea pots, and some beautifully decorated cakes.
How cute, right?
