French Manicure / Nail Pens
There is nothing quite as elegant as a simple French manicure. I’ve gone off having painted nails recently, I think because mine were so long it just looked a bit odd. I decided to give my manicure a makeover, trimmed my nails down to short and square and give them the traditional French manicure.
I used to love nail art (and avoiding uni work), and as a result of having picturesque nails for months in a row, I got given a few sets of nail art pens for Christmas. Although I rarely use them anymore, the thin tip actually makes them perfect for precision lines and it has a nib you can use to draw. You can grab a set off eBay for pretty cheap, and the quality is decent. The formula is not as wet as normal nail varnishes, but this is because it wouldn’t be very accurate to use if it was dripping all over the place!
If you want to grow your nails out, I have a guide on how to grow long nails!
Have you ever tried nail pens? What nail art is your favourite?
I have nail pens but never thought of using them to do the tips! Going to give it a try; I’m always ruining French polish with my shaky hands. Hopefully this will help!
