Sample Sunday #3

As you’re reading this, I’m slumming it up at V Festival! Perfect practical application for my Sample Sunday. I hate the long trip from the car to the camp site and I thought bringing samples rather than full sized products might help the journey, even if it was only a tiny bit. My skin always gets really grotty at festivals, so I opted for samples of both a serum and moisturiser. I also took some travel sized products I’ve got from gift sets before.

Soap & Glory Make Yourself Youthful serum:

I actually reviewed this in my Sample Sunday #2, so I won’t go into too much detail but I do love this product, and I’m glad I got to take a few samples to V fest. It really helped to combat how gross my face got!

L’Oreal Skin Perfection moisturiser:

I won’t be able to try this until I am at V Festival, and I won’t have the battery life to update you all, so I’ll make sure I include this in my Sample Sunday #4 on top of the sample of the week.

Temple Spa Be Gone gentle cleanser:

My boyfriend’s mum loves this brand, so I have both a few travel sized and full sized products. I actually have this cleanser in full sized, it’s really gentle and creamy but also capable of getting off makeup, which makes it ideal for festivals!

Temple Spa Toning Essence:

I have the full sized version of this, which is actually a spray. I prefer it in spray form as it is really refreshing and cooling, but this sample size is perfect for getting rid of any leftover makeup and grime traces after cleansing.

Benefit That Gal primer:

Everyone knows festivals are either way too hot, or pouring with rain so a primer is a must have. This isn’t my favourite primer texture wise (it’s kind of slimy?) but it really brightens up my complexion and brings some life to my skin, which is exactly what you need at a festival!
