The Best Kind Of Subscription Box

After absolutely loving my last Degustaox*, I was really excited to receive this month’s. I just can’t get over how great a food subscription box is; I am a massive pig at heart so getting new, tasty food delivered is like Christmas come early. This month’s Degustabox is definitely one for the sweet tooth’s out there, and also quite obviously a diet ruiner.

Degust 11edit

Kent’s Kitchen (£2.50)

This is the coolest little meal kit ever! Not only are all the ingredients natural, it’s super easy to create delicious food in under 20 minutes. I can’t wait to try this, it’s a step above ready spices and sauces.

Special K Cracker Crisps (£1.89)

I’ve had these before in other flavours, and they’re such a light, moreish snack. These are in barbeque flavour, which sounds like it will be delicious. The bag is also ‘share’ size, but I’m sure you can eat them all yourself if you’re really hungry.

Blue Dragon Sweet Chilli Sauce (£1.39 each)

Degust 5 edit

I love sweet chilli sauce, and we actually go through tonnes of it. Scott and I are both skint so splashing out on Blue Dragon s a rare one for us, it’s normally an own brand buy. Receiving two bottles, albeit smaller ones, is like a dream come true for all our dipping and sauce needs.

Enhance Drinks (£2.49)

I’ve been obsessed with this extra concentrated squash for a while. It’s so good for adding to water when you’re out and about, I took some to V Festival and it was a life saver. I got the flavour orange and peach, but there is four flavours.

Solo Marshmallow Crème (£1.99)

Degust 6 edit

This is a spreadable marshmallow thing; like the Fluff you get in American candy shops. I was going to eat this straight out the tub but they have a recipe for marshmallow fudge which I am definitely going to be making!

Get Buzzing … bar (£1.30)

This is a healthy flap jack energy bar which is made of all natural ingredients. I’ve not tried it yet, but I think I’ll use it as a before gym energy snack.

Jelly Belly (£2)

Degust 4

I love jelly belly’s, it’s so fun guessing the flavours! They remind me of Harry Potter too, with their magic fglavoured beans!

Dr Oetker Fine Dark Baking Powder (£1.89)

These are basically little sachets of dark cocoa powder, which is really handy for baking and you don’t want to buy a whole tub of cocoa powder; let’s face it, it will never get used! Each sachet has a separate recipe card, which is cute and handy!

Dr Oetker Premium 90% Extra Dark Chocolate (£2.49)

My dad works at Hotel Chocolat and is a complete chocolate snob, so I can safely tell you 90% cocoa is an extremely good quality of dark chocolate. It’s a little bit more expensive than your basics cooking chocolate, but I guarantee it will make some delicious chocolate baked good.

Brioche Pasquier Sliced Brioche Loaf (£1.69)

Degust 8 edit

Brioche is the best type of bread, don’t you think?

Brioche Pasquier Pain Au Lait With Choc Chips (£1.60)

Would you judge me if I said I ate four of these in the same day? Because I totally dead. The only thing that’s better than brioche bread, is brioche bread with chocolate. That is a fact.

Bear Paws (£0.55)

These are dried fruit, shaped into bear paws. They’re 100% natural and 100% cute so I can imagine them being a great hit with kids.

Bear Alphabites

This was a sample of a near cereal, which is made using coconut blossom nectar rather than sugar, so has a low GI making it a perfect breakfast for those who get hungry two hours after eating (I am one of these people).

Out of everything sent, I’ve only tried two products beforehand which shows how great Degustabox is for trialling new products. I’m seriously debating getting my sister a subscription for Christmas, as she gets just as excited about food as I do so I think she’d love it.

Have you tried Degustabox yet? If not, here’s a £3 code (GKUWC) to use, here. That means you’d get your first box for only £9!
