My Everyday Hair Products

Current hair productsI am pretty low key when it comes to my hair. I wash my hair around twice a week, and I basically only brush it before and after a shower, unless I’m feeling particularly proactive or trying to impress. And both of those come rarely! That being said, there are a few products I do use almost every single time I do my hair (ya know, on those odd occasions!).

Got 2 b Beach Matt Mermaid Look Texturising Salt Spray

This was a complete accidental purchase a while ago, I am not ashamed to say that the word ‘mermaid’ on a beachy bottle just completely made me buy a random product I’d never even heard of. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, I’m a marketers dream. Accidental purchase aside, I do actually like this salt spray as it gives my wavy-frizzy-messy hair a bit of shape, and means I don’t have to straighten it every time I wash my hair. Because that, kids, is bad.

Tresemme Keratin Smooth Heat Protection Spray

I hate having wet hair so I do tend to blow dry my hair when I wash it. In my defence, I do use the coldest setting and I use protection so I don’t think I’m doing that much damage. I don’t know if this spray particularly keeps my hair much smoother than any other heat protection spray but it isn’t sticky, the spray is good and it lasts a long time so I have no complaints.

Moroccan Oil

I won’t go into too much detail as I have a full review here but for a girl who never cuts her hair, this stops my hair from looking ratty for a long time after it should be. Although I am now way overdue a trim!

Attitude Dry Shampoo

I actually stole this from my bathroom at home as I always forget to buy dry shampoo but actually, it is really good. It doesn’t leave the top of my hair looking granny-fied after use which is my pet hate with dry shampoo. It’s run out and I’ve got my eye on the Herbal Essence’s new dry shampoo but as you all know, I am on a spending ban. If you don’t know, you clearly missed this post!

Aside from these, all I put in my hair is shampoo, conditioner and oil treatments! I’ve been loving using my Old Wives Tail Melado Organic Hair Growth Oil on my roots and coconut oil on the rest of my hair and leaving it overnight, it’s definitely helping me to prolong my impending hair cut.
